Appointments.

To make an appointment with us please telephone: 01935 817827 or alternatively you can pop into our reception and make an appointment in person.

The centre is open from 9am to 5pm every week day except Bank Holidays. Closed between 1-2pm Monday-Friday.

We are a popular practice, so if you have to cancel an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible, as we can offer this time to another patient. There may be a charge for any private appointment missed, or cancelled with insufficient notice. We may be unable to see patients again who repeatedly fail appointments or cancel with insufficient notice (Please refer to the practice policy on the notice board in the reception area). We always try to see our patients at their allotted time. If you are kept waiting, there is normally a good reason so please be patient with reception.

Regular Check Ups

To help maintain excellent oral health we recommend that you attend regular check up appointments following the NICE guidelines.

A typical check up appointment will include an oral examination of your teeth and gums to record any changes in your overall dental health. Your dental team will organise to professionally clean and polish your teeth to remove plaque and any staining that has occurred since your last visit. We will also advise you on caring for your teeth and gums, and answer any questions you may have.

Appointment cancellation procedure

We understand that sometimes patients are unable to make their appointment. As soon as you know you’re unable to make an appointment please telephone the practice to re-arrange your appointment. We require at least 24 hours notice before your appointment is due, in order to rearrange or cancel.

Children’s appointments

In order to deliver better oral health for your child we advise they attend regular check ups. However, children with high tooth decay may be advised to visit their dentist every three months to monitor the level of decay.

As a matter of routine, preventative advice is given to children and their parents each time they visit the practice, for further information about your child’s toothcare please see our advice page.
